Landlords will use old images over and over again, and the house is rundown, or dirty, or carpet have stains on them that you don't see in the photos or they don't show you. You can always check for more photos and check more websites, but sometimes the images don't tell the whole story.

In a lot of cases, a house could be rundown, or dirty carpets with stains on them or dirty walls that you don't see in the photos or they don't show you. You are not able to see the inside of drawers, cabinet, closets. It can also be a house that has a lot of repairs needed that don't show up in the photos until you are there, such as signs of water damage, faulty wiring, crumbling foundation issues, green or black mold, and pests. The presence of vermin or infestation, as well as the need for new appliances, can also not be seen in photos. In addition, many factors like noise from busy roads.

If these kinds of things are not taking care of maybe the landlord is not a very good landlord. You might want to be very cautious of this situation and find out what else is going on with the property. If it is a rental it might be best to look elsewhere to avoid getting into a difficult living situation.
